There are dozens of ~~us~~ them (I assume)!

They just sell the data. If they need user data (beyond basics) they might buy it from a data mining company.

If we just pay our taxes to King George he'll eventually listen to us!

My pockets' capacity is determined by the thickness of what I'm shoving in there, not the height. A folding phone is the worst possible thing as it doubles the thickness at the expense of height.

With Universal Healthcare and a Universal Basic Income, no one would need to be "rewarded" for doing things that they find interesting, entertaining, or do simply for the sake of enriching society.

The Mayans predicted the end of the world in 2012. Really, it was the end of the expected simulation that we're all living in. Now that we're past that year, stacks are overflowing and the simulation is encountering unexpected results outside the boundaries of the programmers' intents. That's why everything is fucked.

Scheduling meetings is easy. Don't do it. Send an email.

"But what about when..." No. Email over meetings. You're not special, your job isn't special, your company isn't special, your perceived needs aren't special. Send an email. If that isn't enough, send another email. If you get the urge to "give them a quick call", firmly grasp your phone and hurtle it out the highest window or rooftop you have access to. Then send another email.

Yeah, my parents just sold their house in the Midwest after dropping the price by 30k. The key is, house prices are dropping in places no one wants to live (like the Midwest). Anywhere worth living, housing is only going up, up, up.

I think they do actually want to cut the high skilled talent. High skill means high pay, and now that they've achieved market dominance in pretty much every industry they've stuck their penis into they don't need talent. Lower skilled, and therefore lower paid, employees can do just good enough to keep everything from burning down just long enough for the C-suite to get their bonuses and cash out. After that, who cares, they're on to their next grift.

You could also think this applies to all corporations in some degree. But no, there's a fresh batch of ~~bright eyed optimistic people out of school~~ people desperate to not be homeless or starve every year.

Fast forward 6 months and every user of After will only ever select "Vibes didn't match" or the first option they can click the fastest.

Because people want the status symbol of having a dog without actually liking dogs, so they buy "convenient" dogs based on traits like how little they shed. Then the second they aren't puppies anymore they dump them with a trainer to "train" all the dog out of them and/or dump them at a doggy daycare to torture the minimum wage employees who actually like dogs, all so the owners can take photos for their social media.

Tl;dr: I love all dogs. But poodle mixes are exclusively owned by terrible people, and as a result, act terribly.
