Does anyone have knowledge of Razorock's DE line up? As far as I understand it, the heads and handles are interchangeable and other than one being an open comb, I don't know the meaningful difference between their 10+ heads.

Have you seen the comparison chart from Razorock? Mild and aggressive are subjective terms, but generally more aggressive razors have more blade feel and need more attentiveness while shaving.
Yeah I saw this, even in each category there are over 5 different razors.
I'd say the most popular one is the Game Changer series. Do you have a razor that you like right now? Do you think you'd prefer something milder, more aggressive, or the same?
I have a Merkur Futur clone that I use on the 5 setting. I should probably measure the blade gap. I'll have to find myself some calipers.
Is 5 a middle setting?
Blade gap is only part of the equation, so if it turns out to be 0.68mm, for example, it's still going to be quite different than a Game Changer .68. I've measured blade gap before and feeler gauges are the way to go if you're curious.
Are they better than an engineer's caliper?
If you already have calipers I won't stop you! I have a pair of digital calipers and the feeler gauges seemed like a much better tool for the job!
6 is max. But when I used an open comb I shredded my face. If I had to guess, it likely maxed out at around middle aggressiveness.

I bought a new brush from Yaqi, which arrived yesterday. It is really beautiful, and the photos don't really do it justice (there is a chattoyance in the blue part that doesn't come out in the photos I have seen). The only thing I slightly dislike is that it gets quite slippery when covered with soap – which happens easily, because the handle is rather short. And, yes, I dropped it, thanks for asking.
I also honed the Koraat yesterday, and just as with the Puma, I did a quite decent job.
Have a good day!
PS: Not participating in the Atlas shaves; I have none of the artisans (and even less the precise soap) up to now, and I guess that it will stay that way.
No pictures of the brush!? 🧐
Better pics than I could have made:

-> 2 passes on the head, 1 for neck line and cheek line. Very comfortable and nice.
Had to shave way earlier than my usual time in preparation of my night shift, so I chose something that would give guaranteed smooth results. B+M soaps are a safe bet, especially the ones in Omnibus base. Smooth sailing, err, shaving.
Curious if my night will be so smooth too. I went to bed late and got up in the early afternoon as preparation, so sleep shouldn't be an issue. I'll see.

When I shaved this shave, I shaved it with unscented products because I was on my way to the birth center because my wife was being induced. I even forgot to do any post-shave routine except Osma.
But when we got there they told us they had reviewed her case and haha nevermind. Go home. Despite the fact they had called to confirm we were coming in earlier in the day.
So now I’m home. I guess I’ll go put on some balm.

And get some advance on sleep, you'll need it soon enough

- Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. – Friends to the End
- Fragrance: Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540
I'm back in civilisation after roughing it during the first day of Atlas Shaves with only my emergency travel sample reserve, and it's good to have the entire den at my disposal again. I'm using AG 1889, a scent that I enjoy, but sparingly because I sometimes get frag tingles from it. Today I didn't, so I got to enjoy it in my favourite combo with Baccarat Rouge.
@PorkButtsNTaters666@sub.wetshaving.social and his Puma shave today inspired be to fetch my own (smaller) Puma 88. It's been a great shave, and I'm going to use this razor again tomorrow.

The challenge soap today is Chicago Grooming Company — Lavender. It was easy enough to find a soap in my den that has lavender as a note!
This was also my first shave with the new-to-me Fleur de France. It's a really nice scent, I might try to hunt down a matching splash as well at some point.
+2 points for soap with at least half of the same scent notes
