TIL I'm a chick magnet

I read, write, and cook, and can play several instruments (kazoo, mouth harp, washboard, tamborine,...). Where's the women that find me attractive?

the trick is that you have to find them instead of just waiting for one to pop out of the ether

Archery. Archery? Whose hobby is that?

[–] Carighan@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

Can't recommend enough. A fantastic sport to pick up for after work if you're working in IT or so, clears your mind, good for the shoulders and the back, and calms you down.

[–] dufkm@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

The archers?

I don't do it, but I'd like to. The few times I tried it I quite enjoyed it, it's just hard to find a place near me where I can practice archery. It's quite fun, I think.

I’m not into guys but as a woman I’m surprised blacksmithing isn’t higher. How am I supposed to be your knight in shining armor if you can’t make me some shining armor?

Tl;dr: any interest is interesting and attractive. In particular if it can be done without annoying your partner and shows your ability to think independently. If it produces something useful that's cool, too.

When does cooking stop counting as a basic day to day survival thing and start counting as a hobby?

[–] skeezix@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I stopped making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because I lost the recipe.

[–] quixotic120@lemmy.world 35 points 3 days ago (2 children)
