The book bans are currently practice before they start banning more resources such as Wikipedia.

That’s a great recommendation, it’s always important to practice bypassing potential censorship as you do not always know what is being hidden from the public.

I’m not undoing the bans as the comments literally go against the definition of veganism ie no animal products for the reason of ethics, serving meat options in an establishment isn’t even vegetarian let alone vegan. Words are supposed to have meaning or language is completely pointless.

The foods that are vegan and plant-based have zero animal products. It is not up for debate.

You’re welcome to post and comment in flexitarian communities instead.

Hey at least Lemmy is becoming popular enough for the authorities to block us.

No it is run by volunteers as a fediverse alternative with instances.

Good to know that there’s still some decent people there.

Searching for the instance and then tapping on the element gives you the menu that provides the option to block on the third party app Mlem.

Time to boycott the platform!

This bug is pretty jarring at times because I have to double check.

Anyone else feel like the reason why humanity doesn’t bother to fix important issues for a long time is because the people simply don’t care enough to group up and fix them. I mean when I try to educate folks on complex problems they often seem like they don’t want to discuss it and quickly defend the status quo saying “that’s just how things are”

But we can’t keep ignoring these issues because then it could delay necessary progress for thousands of years.
