m/altersex does exist. But since its new and doesn't have much activity, so it doesn't have the backlog of stuff yet. But you could always be one of the people who help give it activity.

I'll check it out! unfortunately, previously on reddit, the altersex, salmacian and intersex communities were a bit at odds due to the sensitive topic of identity vs. condition, but hopefully we can come together this time around.
edit: i cant seem to find it, could you drop a link?
https://kbin.social/m/altersex
If you subscribe, then others on your instance should then be able to find it easier I think.
hmm okay im still new here, so maybe I'm just missing something, but I cant find the altersex community through the slrpnk.net instance.
Have you tried writing (your instance url)/c/altersex@kbin.social on the address bar of your browser?
weird, it failed the first 2 tries, but worked the third. thanks
I think federation is still wonky and has delays in it. Was having a similar issue with another community.
If you have resources, I'd love to add them to our Wiki!
i was mainly referring to the mutual support and the backlog of experience reports and stuff archived on the subreddits :/
but maybe you could pull the wikis and FAQs from the salmacian and intersex subreddits so they are accessible outside of reddit again?
https://libreddit.projectsegfau.lt/r/intersex/ and https://libreddit.projectsegfau.lt/r/salmacian/ denies Reddit hits while letting you look at the site anyways. I’m pretty sure there was another Lemmy instance whose purpose was just to archive Reddit posts but I can’t find it right now. I’ll look more and edit this post if I find it.
EDIT: https://lemmit.online/.
https://the-eye.eu/redarcs/ is a Reddit backup, and I know r/DataHoarder started trying to archive all of Reddit. https://libreddit.projectsegfau.lt/r/DataHoarder/comments/146msr8/is_there_a_complete_backup_of_reddit/
