Yesterday's shave was so good, I had to repeat it. I just hope that - unlike @gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social - I don't get stuck in the cycle of liking and repeating. I tried to get to BBS, and mostly succeeded.

I went for a "wet load" today, as opposed to my normal "damp load with some extra vigor". It worked, but my first pass was airy relative to my normal Stirling lather. The nice thing about Stirling soap is that it seems to work no matter how bad you are at lathering.

Yeah, super easy base to work with
This is one of those shaves where everything went perfect. The choice of Ozark Mountain is plagiarism (I had dug into my smush and small sample collection for this Sample Straightember and kinda forgotten that the gigantic Stirling samples are samples as well). The new Mystery Brush is just wonderful. A cloud with just a hint of scrub. So pleasant! Finally, the wide Fili 14 gave the gentlest shave. Three passes of fragrant bliss.

Coffee and booze seem to be the theme for this morning. No complaints from the shave.

While I enjoy booze, I'm not sure if I've ever tried it in the morning.
I'm with you. I think the earliest for me is maybe a brunch or three before.
Drinking long enough in the evening took me there on a few occasions 🤷♂️
