TabOKtoberfest nears its end and I'm revisiting some of the highlights of this month. The French point Böker with the perfectly straight edge is definitely one of those.
I'm enjoying the automatic great lathers that come from using the same soap for a while, but now that BBS November is close, I'm starting to get excited about mixing it up again.
I limit myself to Tabac Tuesdays for TabOKtober so today is my last use of Tabac for a while. I’m looking forward to BBS November as well. New straights and new soaps to use, and I my safety razor collection has been dormant since July😁
What is BBS November? 👀
What @PorkButtsNTaters666@sub.wetshaving.social said. The rationalisation is to have a more wetshaving-appropriate Movember alternative, although that's not how it originated.
Well now I have to ask: how did it originate?
Oh, it was really simple. u/visceralwatch seemed to imply it couldn't be done and needed to be proven wrong. Important internet reasons, you see.
Some people shave twice a day in November, and are BBS the whole month.
Man, I think I’d have trouble finding the time to consistently get two shaves in every day for a month!
I have included a couple extracurricular second luxury shaves with safety razors this October, but otherwise, I've also massively neglected that region of my den since July. I'm looking forward to Wolfies, Micromatics, et co ☺️
Are you observing le mois sans tabac?
Oui je suis
👍
🐔France is proud of you🐔
