Blue

  • Brush: Zenith 505BC SE
  • Razor: Weck Hair Shaper (blue translucent scales)
  • Blade: Kismet Rostfrei, Polymer beschichtet
  • Lather: Abbate y la Mantia Don Josè
  • Aftershave: Abbate y la Mantia Don Josè
  • Fragrance: Abbate y la Mantia Don Josè

Age snuck up on me yesterday afternoon. I picked up Djunior and completely threw out my back. I had hoped it would go better today, but after a night of agony, I'm thinking today will be a day of agony. Sigh. Funny how we can go for decades feeling much like we did when we were 20 years old and suddenly, boom, back pain.

Don Josè's banana, coco and ice (menthol) was a nice distraction.

Seeing an osteopath is the only thing that helps me with that kind of pain - unless it's something I can correct myself with exercise.

Generally, prophylactic exercise is the only reliable path, but if it doesn't hurt, it's hard to remain motivated.

So much this.

I used to have one hour of bicycle per day for my commute to work and I played in the local squash league twice a week. I dropped both when Djunior was born. It shouldn't come as a surprise, but I'm still shocked by how much strength I just lost in a few short years.
