Mar 30, 2024 - ๐Ÿชป Champs de Lavande ๐Ÿชป

  • Brush: Stirling Soap Co. Green & Ivory 24mm Synthetic 2-Band Synthentic Knot
  • Razor: EldrormR Industries MM24 #MMarch24
  • Blade: Personna GEM PTFE [30]
  • Lather: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux - Champs de Lavande - Soap
  • Post Shave: House of Mammoth - Beloved - Splash

My first impression of Champs de Lavande was not favorable, but this morning's shave with it was much better. Beloved's opening blast of mint and lavender is still among my favorites.

Rating: 4.5/5

Champs de Lavande was not favorable

Nor was mine. My first impression was actually of a faint odor of hay and horse. I was thinking that Shawn went a bit too far with his Oregon Trail/prairie analogy. This changed for me as I become more aware of the composition of the fragrance.

I got a similar earthy vibe the first time as well.
