๐ฐ Stirling vs House of Mammoth ๐ฆฃ
I'm on a company engineering seminar in the mountains, so a Mountain Man trickhole is the perfect choice for my Stirling vote today. There's simply no way I can get disappointed with today's outcome. Both u/mammothben and u/stirlingsoap deserve to go all the way IMO, and I am somewhat optimistic one of them will.
Today was the first time I've taken a straight razor to the mountains and I made a fun observation: The thin, dry mountain air plays tricks with my strop and the leather-steel combo is like the plexy glass stick and cat pelt experiment from high school physics: crackling discharges of static electricity and all the hairs on my stropping arm stood up.
Every time I use the Motherlode knot I'm impressed and tell myself I should use it more, and I never do ๐คท
Fantastic shave, I won't be too mad if we get snowed in and I have to repeat it a few times.
Motherlode++

Another "win" for the stainless steel straight razor -- the perfect no-stress travel razor.
Totally. This one in particular with its stainless steel scales ๐

Pretty much! ๐
