Very nice!
I love that story about OG Roam. I had a similar reaction the first time I smelled it. It immediately threw me back to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.

I figured I'd give it a try. I won't be able to keep up for a whole month, though.
That's the one. I'm not an expert, but I think "Testina" might refer to the handle, and "Gentile" is the head.
This model is my favorite of the ones I've tried (including Classic and Classic Slant). This is also my favorite handle of theirs that I've tried (including Piccolo and Lo Storto).
I typically prefer milder razors, but not too mild. The Gentile is close to a Gillette Tech, but it's arguably more efficient than a tech.

This "BBS November" business is ridiculous, so don't get your hopes up that I'll be some sort of regular participant.
I really wanted to use my Fatip Gentile, but I have no idea where it is. I just have a drawer with razors in it, and it's not in there. I just did some digging and I haven't used it since April 1st.
Edit: I searched my Discord messages and I think I've tracked down where it is... I sent it to someone to try in May.
Shoot, I had remained ignorant to that last part until now. Is Lowe's the only big box hardware store I can still support? How about Ace?
I've never lived in a state with a Menards, and I'm still a big fan. Menards is worthy of some fandom.
Sounds like interesting soap. I had a chance to try a "homemade" shave soap once which also only had a few ingredients. I was similarly impressed with it.

Nice shave. We put on a presentation at an elementary school today introducing them to how things fly, model rockets, RC gliders, indoor micro-drones, and an RC flight simulator. The kids loved it and it was a lot of fun.
It's always neighborhood dependent. We live in a kid-heavy town but trick-or-treating just sort of naturally condenses into certain streets/neighborhoods, and the town even shuts down Main Street for it. So the kids on your street might go to other neighborhoods to team up with friends, etc.
The only way to know is to ask neighbors who have been there for a while what the vibe is usually like on your street.
Our kid is 2 so tonight was his first time trick-or-treating. Our street always has some houses with candy but we went to a different neighborhood to go with friends. One of the houses we went to said they weren't prepared because in 20 years they've never had anyone come! They were excited to see people, though.
