Google Messages app already falls back to SMS automatically if RCS fails. SMS is not going anywhere.
I might be wrong but I don't think the commenter was joking. It's not a joke to say a lot of politicians have been assassinated and to question how someone in such a situation managed to get safely elected. I wonder the same thing.

To summarize:
- Chromosomes don't mean shit: People exist with XY chromosomes who present outwardly as females.
- Genitals don't mean shit: 2% of humans (2.8 million per year) are born with ambiguous genitalia.
- Hormones don't mean shit: Testosterone levels overlap between males and females.
How do you combat bot accounts and illegal content? Is it moderation or algorithms or both?
