Not quite, but that does sound delicious! What I’m referring to is probably more of a Chinese thing, as that’s my ethnic background.
That’s the part that I don’t see how the author got to their position. Surely the author is well aware of the relationship between content and money, and sees the value in a community that’s not driven by the latter?
Rice porridge with milk instead of water. It’s a thing where my parents are from but I’ve never heard of anyone else having it before. It goes great with nuts. I prefer bbq flavoured peanuts, but anything sweet and salty will work.
We as humans are already sensationalizing for clicks. I can’t imagine what content is going to look like even in the near future with AI at the reigns.
I’m not sure if there’s any official name to it, we call it 奶子稀饭 (naizi xifan). “Milk rice porridge” feels like the most accurate translation!
