billy corgan, twice. total dick once, nice the other time. dan aykroyd bought us a shot. ray manzarek of the doors had a strong presence and was direct but polite. chuck palahniuk at a book signing, funny but no opinion either way. john waters was kind and weird, exactly what you'd expect. al jourgensen didn't say much and looked terrible. I corresponded via email with terrence mckenna and he was very kind.

primary voters vote for the candidate. party elites might have their horse but if the voters go another way, then their horse still loses the race despite the advantage. an outsider candidate could win if they have the votes.

funding and party support is one thing. votes are another.

I eat prunes daily. some people think it's a laxative for old people. sure, there's fiber in them and fiber helps you stay regular but just the same as eating most fruit. prunes are just dried plums and they're delicious
