Maybe it's a strong case of nostalgia but a first person Indiana Jones game doesn't feel right. But on the flip side, if it was a true third person game, people would complain that it's a clone of Uncharted and Tomb Raider despite Indy being the original.

I have mixed feelings which make me happy as I don't have an Xbox. 😁

DVDs had a maximum resolution of 576p. The Superbit DVDs by Sony were DVDs that had no extras so that they could use the entire space on the disc to maximise the bitrate. I think this was only beneficial to those with very large TVs.

As a UK resident, I only know about these because Bill and Ted used some to repair the phone booth time machine.

If this is the right Github, the sponsorblock fork has been archived as of Dec 29th. Does that mean the project is finished/on pause?

Minidiscs rocked! My first model, which I loved, was unfortunately stolen. They hardly took up any room and I could carry loads of them on my travels to college. They were cheap and came in lovely bright colours.

The replacement model I bought was a Sony NetMD which I thought was amazing. It ran for hours on it's chewing gum battery and if that failed, I could screw on an attachment to use a single AA battery.

The player used Sony's new compression techniques and I could fit three or four albums on a single disc. It came with a dock and connected to my Windows 95 PC so I could rip CDs or convert mp3s and use the computer to fill in the artist and track name information.

I found the in-line remote on eBay so I could control it via the little cylinder remote with the backlit blue LCD display, clipped to my jacket.

I loved minidiscs.

This card has two drawbacks as far as I can see. Firstly, there's no loader to swap between games.

Secondly, it only supports its own format when you back up your own games. The games you download from the net aren't compatible but it's assumed the pirates would 'repack' their past releases to be compatible.

Here's a question, would the Switch be oblivious to how the game is stored and download any updates? Do pirated games come complete with the latest available updates?

The only one that I remember is,

How can you tell when an Essex girl has had an orgasm?

She drops her packet of crisps.

Seems a bit rubbish now I've typed that out. πŸ˜†

What the article didn't mention, and it says in the video, Alien: Resurrection was possibly going to be a multi cd game at one point and the dev was experimenting with the code to get that working.

His video on the special effects of Fight of the Navigator is one of the best "making of" videos I've seen. They should license it and put it on the Blu-ray, it's that good.

Our local Asda has recently reinstated all the Β£1 locks again. I guess trolley theft has been increasing.

My apologies. Dan (NerdΒ³) and Stuart are very funny chaps.

They've made it into a competition. The winner is the one with the best daily gifts.

This year it's Barbie Vs Military Men (a cheap calender of generic 3⅐ inch army men and accessories.)

The other set is Only Fools & Horses Vs Woozle Google (A German science show for children)

They've been doing it for several years. One year was the official Dr Who advent calendar Vs Star Trek. Considering these were deluxe expensive sets, some of the gifts were terrible.
