That's the problem. I think Amazon have been locking the device down. Rooting maybe the only way if that's still possible.
We have a standard 4K stick and yesterday I looked into replacing the launcher. Unfortunately it seems that Amazon have stopped users from accessing ADB or an ADB shell making it almost impossible to customise it. It may still be root-able but I wasn't that desperate to change it.
I've really enjoyed many of the IP based games over the years, Star Wars, Marvel, Indiana Jones and even Lego GTA. Oh sorry, Lego City: Undercover.
The one that really disappointed me was Lego: Worlds. I thought it would be fun to build with unlimited bricks virtually but it's just not for me.
I like to have physical bricks in front of me which give me ideas as I build. Finding different bricks in the pile gives me new ideas as I build. That's not something than happens with the game.
On the flip side, playing with the 80s Space sets was a huge nostalgia kick for me.
As a younger man, I used to always get an upgrade after two years but I finally broke out of that cycle and finally got a SIM only contract and bought a decent mid range phone. It's now three years old, still working fine and I don't see myself changing it anytime soon.
I've settled on Thunder. The only downside is that they haven't implemented replying to direct messages yet, you can only view them but apart from that, it's good.
The problem is, several publishers don't want to pay Nintendo for the larger storage cartridges. Many Switch games only have part of the game physically and you have to download the rest.
Diabolo III made a point of saying the whole game was on the cart for example.
New name, old icon. 😁 I'll see how I get on with this keyboard. It'll stop me relying on gifs from Gboard. 👍
I agree. There seems to be a job in the industry called "Professional Guesser". It's like those companies/people who say, "Barbie Vs Kong" is expected to make $76m at the box office this weekend. How can you possibly know?
Alien: Romulus due out in mid August. Looking forward to it.
And if you have access, watch the Assembly Cut, it's definitely the better version.
The fact the Nazis are involved is obviously very cool considering it's Indiana Jones but you can't help (well me anyway) thinking that it is quite Wolfenstein-y.
In the beginning, it was a mix of LiftOff! and Jerboa. The dev of LiftOff! had twins and understandably, he hasn't returned and the app has fallen to the wayside.
So I tried Thunder (available on Android and iOS) and it's been really good, lots of regular updates and features as well.
