It's meant to be humorous or ironic, or to express frustration.

Of course it's in the last place you look, because once you find it you stop looking.

"That's what she said" long predates the office. I feel like it was used in SNL in the 80's.

Comes from being a compromise "standard". The name says it all, being named after a king that brought multiple tribes together.

I had an "unlimited" plan with a cell company - I took them at their word and downloaded gobs of stuff. Got shut down in a week.

Anyone involved with surgery is... different.

Bless you all. I appreciate what you're able to do.

Syncthing.

Möbius on iOS, Syncthing on Mac/Linux, SyncTrayzor on Windows, Syncthing-Fork on Android.

Alternatively Resilio Sync.

I do find Resilio works better for iOS - it handles photos better due to iOS restrictions.

Cooks County/America's Test Kitchen turned me on to using flax seed oil. Wow, what a difference. Worth the $10 bottle - I've redone all my cast, and it's damn near non stick.

I've even used it on aluminum sheet pans. Those are so slick they feel oily when clean and dry.

Isn't that Lodge chart about cooking with those oils? I wonder what the implications are for seasoning - ATK recommends using saturated fats, as there's more carbon available, which is what you're trying to do - carbonise the surface (sounds like something from Star Wars, lol).

Make sure your stuff is not visibly dirty?

It's dirty clothes. Please, enlighten me on how to make it "not visibly dirty".

Life is messy. Ever changed a baby's diaper? A cloth one? And had them pee and poop on you while doing it?

That's life. It's messy.

Even worse, the McD ice cream machine issue was caused my McD themselves, by having requirements around cleaning cycles that were tighter than the machine could do.

The same machines worked fine at other companies.

I'm currently moving (for the last year) from Gmail to mailbox.org.

They have a free level, but I wanted aliases, so I pay $30/year. Worth every penny.

So, paid app (if you want wireless sync) - Media Monkey.

The Android app can read network shares and network media servers (I forget exactly what it can read). But it works best if you run the server app - then you can stream the library or sync media, similar to iTunes.

The Android app is free for basic functionality ($5 for wireless sync), the desktop/server app is free ($30 to enable wireless sync and a few other features). It's been worth it for me. Even the free versions work very well.
