Yeah I mean, people have complicated so many things.

Back in the early days of the internet, you were a laughingstock for being infamous on the internet. Like, you weren't supposed to and it was frowned upon. Now look where that's gotten.

The Squad is looking dumb right now, especially after one of their champions having lost the election. This matter further proves that.

But you'll notice that the price comparison is narrowing and Wal-Mart is slowly not looking better off than the competition. It's almost like shopping at Dollar Tree is more feasible, it's what some of us are going to be forced to be doing if not now. Just shopping Dollar Tree almost regularly.

Jay Graber wrongly said you needed to be 18 to use Bluesky, when the actual age limit is 13.

Giving money to Amazon, Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Google .etc

It's like, you can't have an argument for price gouging, when you're enabling them by spending. If people were smart, they'd stop giving them money 10 - 15 years ago and they'd be right now, trying to reconstruct so they can be more economically friendly than how they are now.

...That's the point. I'm only saying one bill is dropped than the other.

Don't be a sovereign citizen. The worst mistakes I've seen people pull is argue the law with cops. Cops are like robots, they're going to be spamming commands after commands. There is no room to debate, so shut up and comply, debate the rest of the shit in court later.

And when you get to court, the worst mistake here is running your mouth about things you only have an idea of, but not the complete story. This is why it's advisable to get a lawyer.

I've watched a court case where my sister tried to defend herself, least partially even with a lawyer. She lost a custody case because she tried driving her narrative to sway court judgment. Don't be an idiot, like her.

Just tell us you're trolling without trying to convince people that you aren't.

Seems like everyone from the instance you're posting from, is just a trolling asshole.

America is just experiencing a case of all-time stupid. There's no excuse that I can find that says Americans didn't know about Project 2025.

If we're in a 'golden age' of anything, it's the golden age of ignorance and stupidity for America. Where's my Brawndo?

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten scrutinized whenever I've pointed out to some other people, about how abused the word 'security' has gotten in the tech world. If people not in the know, so much see the word 'security' and are promised to be secure, they'll happily sign away everything for it.

When the word itself is artificial in that scenario. Why does Google need my street address for "security" of my account when 2FA is a thing and strengthening your password is another? There's nothing secure about prying me for sensitive information than it would be if you've performed regular scans or something that ensured my account is secure and not hacked into.

I am annoyed everytime I want to make a transfer on my bank dashboard from account to account. They give me "one-time" codes all the time to do simple actions and they do that for "security purposes".

No, I disagree, it's to nag me to fucking death.

Sucks to be a Chrome user today since Google neutered uBlock.

But really, people undervalue the capability of uBlock. It blocks a lot. I can watch Tubi content - adfree. I can get Netflix's $7 base plan with ads and no ads with uBlock. Same with generally any streaming service. Has a bit of a trouble working with Twitch which lead to me dropping Twitch altogether.

But man people are missing out a lot and just putting up with so much shit that they don't ever have to if they'd just shut up, download Firefox and uBlock and just get with the rest of us.

I might be simple to please but I think 1080p or 2160p is just peak to me. I find it very difficult to notice differences between 1080p and 2160p but moreso with 2160p and 4K. When Blu-Ray came out, they were of course hamming up Blu-Ray as the shit and DVD was now seen as inferior. I never really cared for what Blu-Ray had to offer at the time of it's debut. Because DVD quality was more than efficient to me, better than VHS which the comparison between VHS and DVD was night and day.

People tend to like tricking others into going into the more premium and expensive options of the latest tech with dishonest comparisons. You see this all the time with graphical comparisons with games and movies. Where they'll deliberately pixelate what they see as an inferior visual and sharpen the later options. It's just dishonest and operates on an extreme bias.

Because it seems to me that the concept of blockchains, only seems to benefit scammers. Look what's happened with bitcoin and NFTs. They're made by scammers.

The Patent Eligibility Restoration Act, S. 2140, (PERA), sponsored by Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Chris Coons (D-DE) would be a huge gift to patent trolls, a few tech firms that aggressively license patents, and patent lawyers. For everyone else, it will be a huge loss. That’s why we’re opposing it, and asking our supporters to speak out as well. Patent trolling is still a huge, multi-billion dollar problem that’s especially painful for small businesses and everyday internet users.

Going to be interesting times, in a bad way. Everyone knows now in the US the newly appointed FCC chairman is going to be Brendan Carr, who is against the idea of Net Neutrality so we expect that to go away again similarly to how Ajit Pai got rid of it when he was around.

Should anyone be worried about what this guy can do? Will he carry on the fight for entertainment industry's interests?

Okay, can we focus on the subject matter instead of just devolving it into a stupid meme and treating this platform like it's reddit? Come on, grow up and I've blocked half of you already.

Dial-Up internet. Unfortunately, it's still here because the ISPs continue to fail to deliver on the promise of expanding broadband over and over.

And because of that, it's no wonder internet isn't expanded to everywhere in the country of USA.

Today I'm donating my streaming sticks. I got a ONN brand 2k one I bought for 15 and I got an Amazon Firestick 4K I got for $3 from a thrift store because they didn't know what it was.

And I love the concept of stream sticks, I really do. Too fucking bad that corporate interests got in the way and now everything has to have a bundle of ads at every damn turn. Not even some of the things I'm subscribed to is free from ads because this is the future apparently, we're here.

Shame because I don't want to let these go and even if I were to subscribe to Netflix's ad-free subscription, that's only one source. Why do that when I can just grab a long HDMI cable, plug it into my desktop and to my TV and I can watch everything that's there, without ads because of the extensions I use to block ads.

Some of these things may sound a little exaggerated, but I'm not going to put it pass anyone considering who we're going to be dealing with in these 4 years.

I'm expecting nutrition labels to be poorly regulated and to be informationally false or fabricated. Because we'll have health "experts" who don't care about people's health.

There'll be a lot of sissy slapping among the rich who're fighting moreso over their ideas in what the best course of action that'll benefit them, than it is to benefit country.

Domestic dispute cases will more likely be thrown out or not focused on because this country has shown as to how many misogynists and incels that there are.

I was playing Half-Life 2 recently and for some reason, the vibes of that game reflected the vibes that we're going to be facing. While not exactly, it'll be a similar atmosphere, where we'll be clinging to whatever escapism outlet that we can find to ignore it all.

(This is USA...for the people who're like "DUHHHHH")

I would rather know a little, honestly. Because what pisses me off about information today is that I don't really know who's value I am to take and even be skeptical towards. So I'd rather know little.

If the price gouging of 2020 and everything following that too. If the housing market crashes didn't budge anyone. If the abundance of so many subscription services didn't. If poorly chosen representatives didn't.

If just the high cost of simply living life isn't doing anything.

Then what the fuck will anymore?

No examples from me, just curious.
