Just for reference, scientific inquiry does not "prove facts". It's a process of verifying, revising, establishing and communicating the current broad consensus, or lack thereof, within a knowledge domain. It's not a book of immutable facts that we slowly fill.

Fuck off. This small-minded bullshit is one contributing factor to the rise of despicable systems like the Russian government and many parts of its Putin-supporting society. A blanket reaction against everything Russian dismisses a complexity and common humanity that is crucial for moving beyond petty angry tribalism.
