Nagware has been around since the 80s and it was just as annoying then even without this bloated corporate hellscape we call the internet πŸ™

Look. You are incapable of doing work anywhere but the office. Your collaborations severely lack. Somehow tho, when the executive class spends 10 hours in email it's innovation. When you do it, you're unproductive.

You're right. Better let them just have their way instead. I don't know what I was thinking. There is no point in defending the country from a fascist takeover.

They forget that the people have guns too. As a matter of fact, this is the exact reason the second ammendment exists in America. To defend against those like Shit Stain Donnie.

I can't tell you how many times I've been to the airport waiting for the naked scanner and been part of a group tahen thru the metal detector instead and let thru. I don't even have to opt out of the scanner for the pat down.

Whoo boy, someone hand the Justice Dept a book about how policing came to be.

Spoiler: it involved finding runaway slaves siccing bloodhounds on them and brutally beating them somewhere in the range of half to fully dead.

When U.S. police departments didn't evolve out of slave patrols, they tended to form out of a desire to protect the property of the wealthy. In practice, this meant beating, murdering and arresting people who didn't want to work 12 hour days until they died.

Here's a link to a fantastic Behind the Bastards episode about how the police came to be.

Why? You get more accurate results if you hang a map on the wall, cover your eyes, and throw darts at the map.

β€œI’m actually really excited about how nerdy we got on the security architecture,” says David Weston, vice president of enterprise and OS security at Microsoft

I've been denied a refund for a game I played for 2 minutes and realized was trash. When I quit it went back to a popped-under splash screen instead of quitting to desktop. I turned off the monitor for the night and the next day when I requested the refund, Steam said I played it for too long and denied my refund.

It was a game under $10 so I didn't lose much but it was still bullshit.

Ya'll are missing the point. He doesn't see it because he doesn't see any more elections in the future. He isn't talking about being successful at winning the 2024 election, he's talking about successfully executing a coup.
