This is an indictment of the antiwar movement as much as it is of American media. We need to be educating Americans somehow, because if every American knew what was really happening the number opposed to the war could only increase. The mainstream media won't do it, it has to be us.

If there's any question about how one-sided this war has been, there's a Wikipedia page keeping track of the casualties. They currently list 30,228 Palestinian deaths compared to 1,410 Israeli deaths beginning with the October 7th attack, with estimates that between 61-90% of these are innocent civilians.

Those numbers are from the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health. Regardless of whether they're true or not, Israel supporters won't believe those numbers.

So basically no different than Russian citizens not believing that they were the ones invading Ukraine without cause, or that their own soldiers were the ones raping and torturing innocent civilians even when the news was coming from their own family members. It must really suck to live in that level of self-delusion.
