Aside though, probably the most fascinating thing about English is that it is a language in constant change. Many other languages don’t change at the rapidity of English. Some, like German, often just adapt the English word for a new thing as a loan word with their characters.

I always thought it was just taken as granted rather than an intentional decision, but I never looked into it. That said, the founders got a whole bunch of shit very wrong, so there's that.

This has no practical effect other than virtue signaling to xenophobic racists. It’s called a dog-whistle.
Government agencies no longer providing forms or information in any language but English will definitely have a practical effect and harm.
