Such a fun, campy movie where you get to see Neeson ham it up. Also worth a watch is The Quick & the Dead (1995) with young Leonardo DiCaprio and a pre Gladiator Russell Crowe. Visually, both are shot very much like a comic, which certainly helped Raimi to eventually land the Spider-Man series.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've never heard of this.
If anyone mentions Darkman to me, the first thing I have to say is, "Take the fucking elephant!" 😆
I'll take the fucking elephant!
And he breaks the guys finger lol
This movie rules. Excellent special effects, Sam Raimi doing his thing, the score, all of it.
The sequels.....not so good.
I enjoyed it, my only real beef is the character origin is essentially the same as Swamp Thing... but whatever. It was fun!
I didn't particularly like it at the time, but that might have just been it wasn't what I expected - should do a raimi-a-thon at some point and revisit.
This was one of our favorite movies as kids, and my brother and I would always make jokes referencing it.
"Take two of these and call me in the morning! Mwahahahahaha!"
RLM is talking about this movie is my only really experience with it. I often watch them take about movies I've never, and likely will never see.
