Guess what...maggots use Telegram and signal and I still use them. If an app is not going to offer a group (piracy) that I am looking for I'm not using it.

I’ve tried using simplex but it’s simply (ahah) too slow for groups
I like it privacy wise but I think it’s better for small groups (<10) and 1 on 1 chats

Agreed any relevant information just gets buried. I can't stand how some communities have been switching to Discord. You can never find anything, its a total mess.

Simplex destroys battery life. Like absolutely drains the shut out of your device. I want to like it but that's a huge issue.

No but it requires a wakelock via Notification. Meaning it will never doze
Huh, that didn't really work on my phone when Telegram tried to do it [meaning I still didn't get notifications (fucking Huawei)].
Don't know about iOS but yeah for Android it's shit. They say they're working on it.
