They should literally not even start to discuss his future with him before the offseason.
With his history and recklessness about protecting himself (seriously, the last one was crazy for a player with his injury history), a doctor who clears him before the end of the season should be seriously looked at for malpractice. He is still a danger to himself, "symptoms" or not.
