Firefox lets you make shortcuts that appear on your new tab (home) page in the browser, that might be a good option since they'll open in the browser and not as a PWA.

Uses the system web view to make any website open in a dedicated window. Has some other niceties like applying adblock on a per "app" basis.
Doesn't do extensions, though, but if some of the built-in tweaks are sufficient, may be worth a shot.

I don't completely understand.
Why does normal shortcut open website without extensions? Does it open in private tab? And you have extensions disabled in private tabs?
tried it again the extensions seem to work now, maybe it was a bug with firefox?
anyway the widgets the add to home screen thing adds don't open in the normal firefox app, there's no search bar for example
Maybe I don't quite understand, but is Firefox focus what you're after? It's my default browser. I also have Firefox with extensions installed which I use for my other stuff.
