Anyone know of an iOS app for Lemmy? Last I checked, they're hard to come by, if not straight-up nonexistent. I'm just working a browser for now.

This list by the Lemmy people suggests one but it requires the beta client for apps. Don’t personally feel like messing with it until it’s released officially.

The only iOS app right now is called Mlem, and it is very much a beta. I've been very happy with the mobile browser experience, though. Displaying the main feed by new comments is very useful for this community.

It’s also Android only. It doesn’t seem like these fediverse sites have really branched into iOS from a software dev perspective. I’m guessing that’s a mindset thing. I, personally, really like the whole Apple Walled Garden thing, but I can see why actually computer/network savvy people don’t.

I have been looking but can't seem to find one for iOS. Been also using the browser as much as I don't want to.

At least the browser version of Lemmy seems to work like you expect. Haven't encountered any bugs yet, though my comments so far have been light on the formatting and links.

I'm curious about usernames...TESTING @xgoldenjackalx@sub.wetshaving.social

Heads up: usernames autofill after four or five characters, but it takes a little while to load, so be patient.
