An obvious choice for me for this Theme Thursday would be Tobacconist, but I think that if you're going to have a tobacco note in your scent, plum should accompany it. The shave was so good, a dash of talc was required.
Plum with tobacco... Are you a pipe smoker?
No, but I'm considering taking up pipe smoking and/or cigar smoking. Almost everybody in my generation smoked cigarettes and quit for their health. I quit in the late '70s. It has occurred to me that starting to smoke a pipe or cigars after a certain age is low risk relative to the other things that we geezers die from.
Would the small amount of nicotine reignite your addiction? I genuinely don't know how that works.
I don't know how it works either. My main concern is the mess. You have to deal with ash and with an oily film that gets over everything.
I smoke pipes every so often. InternalInfernal just sent me a bunch of "smooshes", and I'm enjoying all the different smells and flavors.
I only smoke outside after the little one goes to bed, and it's getting cold out... So that's a good way for me to limit how often I do it.
The cold weather is a draw for me. Sitting outside on the back patio with a cigar or pipe, a scotch, bourbon, or rum, and the cold crisp air seems perfect. Plus, there is a fox and a racoon who seem to be competing to see who can leave the largest volume of poo on my patio. I need to meet them in person.
