It's alright, making small progress on a personal project. My feet are cold though, and it's supposed to be full spring here yet we're having cold damp days.
Nice, is your personal project fun at least?
It's entertaining enough, although sometimes I get bored when I hit a knowledge gap and have to figure out how to do stuff. I'm making a realistic creature in blender, and I'm somewhat new to blender.
Knowing how hard it is to even create something small in blender that seems like a reach to get to straight away. I would more suggest smaller projects like designing little objects in your day to day life and see how well you can recreate them before hoping into something like a full realistic creature.
That makes sense, but I have a fair amount of experience with maya an unreal so it's just the blender how-tos stopping me occasionally. It is time consuming though, there's no way around that no matter which software I choose.
