2023.09.13 SOTD:

  • Prep: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser

  • Brush: AKA Brushworks Amethyst Watchman with 26mm AP Shave Co G5C

  • Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable

  • Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium Extra Stainless (3)

  • Lather: Elysian Pineapple Ambrosia with Permafrost

  • Post Shave: Alum, Stirling Mentholated Unscented Witch Hazel and Aloe, Seaforth! Sea Ice Lime Aftershave Splash, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry

Very nice shave again today. These Wizamet blades are really impressing me. Definitely going to pick some up in bulk. 3 pass shave with some very slight cleanup, no irritation, and smooth.

Really enjoying Pineapple Ambrosia as well. I'm going to have to try more of Elysian's soaps. This was the first time using permafrost on a soap. Did 2 pumps, and everything was nice and chilly. I think one would be enough for one shave, but it was still nice. Close to Glacial level from Stirling. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased Olympus from Elysian. I'm looking forward to trying it in October.

Olympus looks interesting for sure. I'm just a pineapple lover so I had to go this route with my first purchase.
