Did you ever find out the story behind the spelling of "cherie tobacco"?

Not yet. Does the name seem odd to you? It definitely bothers me, but the scent makes up for it.

Yeah it's odd, but putting French (or English for that matter) words at odd places in other languages is fairly common ๐Ÿ˜…

Shannon responded to my email. She said that this was the first product for her company and she was attempting to be "cheeky" with the naming; relating both "cherry" and "beloved" through the word "Cherie" [sic]. I have said that the scent is like a sweet cherry pipe tobacco, and she told me that she attempted to capture the scent of the tobacco her grandfather used in his pipe when she made the fragrance.

Yep. I believe that, to-date, this is her best selling fragrance.
