They’re being boycotted because of the Gaza genocide.

I drank coke for 30 years, but in the last year I stopped in part because of Gaza (among other terrible things and people they've supported over the years) and in part because the prices they've been charging lately are ridiculous. It was easier to quit than I thought it would be and I doubt I'll ever buy a coke product again.

Why is it so hard to get Pepsi in US, I personally feel like it tastes better.

[–] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I mean... Diet Pepsi is pretty bad.

Me at a restaurant: diet coke please

Waiter: is Pepsi ok?

Me: I'll just have water

I've never had any diet soda that didn't taste like ass.

I started drinking diet sodas not long after I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes but now I prefer the taste of diet coke over regular coke. A lot of diet sodas are pretty bad in my opinion as well. Diet 7up and Sprite zero are pretty good.

Pepsi has the aspartame taste since they have it in all their drinks.

I can't stand it.

But the Italian Mole Cola is great.

Personal preferences are totally valid but Pepsi does not put Aspartame in all their drinks. Here's Pepsi's ingredients:

Well, I just had a look at the ingredients list here in Sweden, we do have sweeteners in ours and while they are not aspartame, the have a similar aftertaste.

[–] apfelwoiSchoppen@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

I see. That's gross!

I never liked the taste of Pepsi, but at this point I've just stopped drinking all soda.
