The only badger knot I have that size I now use for talc. I was pretty set on 24mm as my max until I bought my 29mm ThΓ€ter. After that and the Wald 27mm I was spoiled.

I know what you mean. My other badgers are 27mm (Zenith), 28mm (dogclaration) and 30mm (Moar Badger) and it's a different story.

I have a 24mm Dec B3 waiting for me at Eldrormr's, and I'm curious about that. I think I would like a small denser knot like a B3 or a Maggards silvertip, but this sparse tiny knot is a not yet acquired taste πŸ˜…

I have several 24mm knots that I like. We just get spoiled for choice with the larger knots. We Americans have a phrase for this that originated in the WWII era, "Smoke 'em if you got 'em". πŸ˜
