2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

This is a soap that sets a mood. Very nice second luxury shave this evening.

Oh, Marilyn sounds like an amazing scent!

It is a bit polarizing. Some don't like it at all. I did not like it at first, as I did not get the association with Marilyn Monroe, even though I'm familiar with the scent of Chanel Nยฐ5. After using the soap sample a couple of times, I decided to buy the EdT, and that changed my mind. Now I know what nuances are there but barely noticeable in the soap and splash.

u/wyzeOne over on the sub compared Marilyn to Tabac in its vibe. Does that sound right to you?

I'd say the scents tend to be polarizing and have that in common. Otherwise, they are quite different IMO. Tabac is strong, and more of an everyday scent (if you like it). Marilyn is subtle, warm, with hints of perfume that catch you (I have the fragrance), the way you catch the scent of a new partner on you after an intensely romantic evening.

That's certainly an interesting description, now I have to try it!

I can send you a soap sample if you want.
