No need to read the full article. Clipped ear shows it got neutered, so now it has more time to focus on business things.
Wow TIL they clip the ear of cats to easily tell which ones have been spayed or neutered.
Only if they are part of a Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program for ferals. If you just take your pet in for the procedure they don't do that. They might give them a small tattoo on their belly if it's a girl, so if they are lost track of and have new humans they are sure no one will open them up to try and do it again.
