  • Prep: warm water
  • Razor: Stando Perun
  • Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux
  • Brush: TGS Galaxy 26 mm
  • Lather: Declaration Grooming - Unscented soap
  • Post Shave: Thayer's Aloe Vera toner; Aloe Vera moisturiser

I actually realised that I forgot to post my Saturday shave before the party I attended, but now it's too late... Anyways! Today I did a 2 pass head shave to get rid of all the stubble on my dome.

The Perun is a really mild razor. I actually prefer if I can shave my head in one pass and be done with it, but today it required two. However, I didn't want to risk any irritation since I will return to nursing school tomorrow. We were supposed to go back today, but due to a country wide farmer's strike our whole school stayed at home today.

So, on Friday I finished my last early shift at the new nursing home. So far, working conditions are way better and colleagues are friendly for the most part. I doubt I'll ever grow as close to them though, but on Saturday I went to a party with 3 of my former colleagues who became friends. It was actually awesome to see them again and we had a fun evening and... early morning I guess. I actually went to bed at 4:00 AM Sunday, despite being the driver and not drinking any alcohol. The girls were all drunk, but well, you only live once. It was a nice evening regardless and a welcome distraction for us all. So far, my life seems to go in a bit of a better direction. Let's see what the next few days and weeks of the new year will bring...
