״hard not to be violent”? This was a premeditated massacre committed by trained and armed militants. It wasn’t a riot or an angry mob.

There are no evidence any civilians were raped or are enslaved. Stop spreading disinformation.

And I guess according to your logic, countless thousands more innocents should suffer or die because of the horrible actions of a few.

Fuck you, you piece of shit, the blood of thousands of innocent souls is on your useless fascistic hands. I hope you get what you deserve, you pathetic disgrace of a human. Signed, an Israeli citizen.

So I guess you agree that the profit motive isn’t necessary, because you moved to a completely unrelated point

  1. If X is a necessary motive for Y, then in the absence of X, Y cannot happen.
  2. Innovation can happen in the absence of a profit motive.
  3. Therefore, the profit motive is not necessary for innovation.

If the profit motive is not the only motive that drives innovation, as you just agreed, then it isn’t necessary, logically. And not sure why you would then go on to expand the definition of profit into meaninglessness after agreeing there are other motives.

Consider math, it doesn’t make any empirical predictions on its own, as it is just a set of abstract symbols and rules. Do you consider mathematical facts to be a form of knowledge?
