I didn't even notice Chiseled Face in the prize list. I really like Chiseled Face. Some people say the soap base isn't good, but I think it's great.

I didn't notice it when the tub was new, but after using it yesterday I started to notice the same sort of volatile hit that I get when I take the lid off of ~~Mood~~ Indigo. I don't think it's a base funk, because I don't get it with Tobacconist or Santa Noir, so maybe it's the same accord used in both scents. It's honestly not that pleasant of a smell, but it dissipates pretty quickly, allowing the rest of the scent through. And what a great scent U&I(WD) is.

Just guessing -- maybe it's based on the resulting offspring being successful racers?

I've been to the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel in Norway. I didn't spend the night, but it was open for tours. Your ticket included a drink at the ice bar.

Overall it was pretty cool! Each room has its own theme, and guests weren't allowed in their rooms until close to bedtime, since each room was open for ticket holders to check out.

First go with this new scent from House of Mammoth. It's a really mature, refined scent. Some stank to it, and super enjoyable.

Lyssa isn't a great match for it, since Lyssa is basically straight up floral, but I was in the mood for it anyway.

I grew up in the state of Rhode Island, went to college in Tennessee, and lived in Georgia, Vietnam, and Virginia over the years until moving to Connecticut a few years ago.

Armed with the knowledge to expect a potentially bubbly lather, I set out with my "dry load" technique and man, great lather. I used most of the ample sample (c'mon, you're making us envelope smushers look bad!), and had lots of dense creamy slick lather.

The scent was familiar and enjoyable. I want to say there's a Southern Witchcrafts scent that features Narcissus (aka Daffodil, aka Jonquil), but without more research I can't be sure. I used to live in Smyrna, GA which called themselves Jonquil City, so maybe I just know the smell from the flowers there.

Floral can be hit-or-miss, and I think this one is a hit.

FYI, all smushes of Oro Valley are in the mail. I left out @sahenders and @wtharris89 because they already have some.

I'm surprised you remember how to use a DE razor!

Only one way to find out.

I know not everyone has this option, but we recently switched to a local pharmacy. It's awesome. Scripts are always ready. Never a line. The pharmacist actually comes over and talks about side effects.

I picked up multiple prescriptions for my wife over a period of a week for some shit she was going through and they actually went as far as asking if she's going ok.

Flu and COVID vaccines are walk-in, no appointment, and you can choose between Moderna and Pfizer.

Compared to the chains around me it's amazingly better. Worth the extra few minutes in the car.

Used is cheaper, but sometimes if you break it down to price per expected mile, new is cheaper. For example a new $30,000 car that you expect to last for 160,000 miles is $0.1875 per mile.

A used car that's $20,000 with 55,000 miles already, that will also last 160,000 miles, is $0.19 per mile.

Take into account lower interest on new cars and, well, I'm not willing to do that math right now.

I just made those numbers up as an example, so of course it depends on what's available.
