Блин с беконом, я пеку с беконом

Блин с беконом, обязательно с беконом

Блин с беконом, вот я так делаю

Блин с беконоооом!

"Блин" in Russian is something that is more similar to a crêpe than what we'd call a pancake in English. But is often used as a translation for pancake anyway https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blini

Immich - Such a polished piece of software that I couldn't imagine storing all my images without

I saw this and thought "How is this even possible? No way you run an SSH server from initramfs…" Turns out that's exactly how you do it, I'll be trying this out thank you!

Ahhh thank you, by the looks of the thread you linked it seems that there's no way of doing it without manually copying database tables over. I did think that may be the case, so I'll just migrate it the normal way then. Thanks for the help!

That does seem like a good option for my use case, interestingly they note that no matter what I switch to I should change the subdomain:

It's not supported across the Fediverse to switch between implementations on the same domain. This means that if you run GoToSocial on example.org, you'll run into federation issues if you try to switch to a different implementation like Pleroma/Akkoma, Misskey/Calckey etc.

That doesn't look promising for moving the account without migrating because then I couldn't maintain my username.

I currently host a single-user Mastodon server for myself but it's on a very small VPS and I'm wanting to migrate to Pleroma because it's more lightweight. Is there any way to transfer my Mastodon account to Pleroma without doing the standard migration since I have the Mastodon database for my instance? This is so all my posts are preserved and there won't be a broken redirect because I'll be shutting down the Mastodon after Pleroma is up.

Tuta (previously Tutanota) because it's private, runs on 100% renewable energy, very affordable if you want to use a custom domain, has end-to-end encryption between Tuta emails and it's email clients are open source including a very nice app on F-Droid

Overall I think Alex handled this situation really well, listened to what people wanted and come to something that everyone's fine with.

It did take quite a while for Immich to process everything when I initially uploaded my library, how long has it been since the initial upload?

The only problem is that there's no way to make a recurring payment even if I wanted to, which would be more sustainable than one-time purchases.

If you really need a computer and don't have the budget for one that costs $600, then don't get a $600 computer. There are plenty of old office PCs on eBay that you can get for less than $100 and they should be fine for only homework. Just search for "Office PC" on there. This is not the place to be asking for money, but I hope you find something that fits your budget and that university goes well.

Grocy seems to match what you're looking for.

I've never done anything like this myself but maybe Sunshine with Moonlight might be worth a look
