Yeah, I have noticed it too. I sometimes just use mpv instead to play YouTube videos instead, but that also has its limitations

How this is good for Mircosoft though? It makes sense if they want to do it opt-out, but the only reason why I can think of they don't want it to get removed at all to sell data

Yeah, I saw this, and all my excitement for the project died. If it becomes successful, I might use it anyway though.
