It is nearly that easy. You follow the instructions given https://geti2p.net/en/download/debian and have I2P running.

The steps are:

  1. install PPA (not uncommon OBS has the same installation method)
  2. apt-get install i2p i2p-keyring
  3. start i2p sudo dpkg-reconfigure i2p
  4. Open http://127.0.0.1:7657/ to configure i2p (optional)

Once qbittorrent has stable I2P support, then blocking sites like megaup and 1fichier will be completely useless. People will just download I2P and qbittorent, find a tracker on the darknet, and start downloading.

Wouldn't surprise me if we were to see the rise of emule,DC++, and similar stuff over I2P.

Didn't they destroy it in the first place?

Open your activity monitor (or hit Ctrl+Esc) and sort by CPU usage. What's your computer doing?

Also, have you installed all necessary drivers? I've never had your problem, so there's a chance you don't have the right drivers.

Could you follow the instructions on https://linux-hardware.org/?view=howto , upload a hardware probe and share the link here?

When conservatives suddenly cancel the right thing

Once "multi-reddits" have been defined and implemented in kbin that shouldn't be an issue. I don't know what'll happen with lemmy, but it would probably be in its interest to implement it too.
