I've been paying for YouTube premium and have been watching a ton of YouTube for years. But I've been finding myself watching less and less YouTube lately and this might be the push to finally cancel and back away some from the platform.

I don't know any in particular but I relate to this a lot and commenting to see the other responses that come in

I'm not even saying I am anymore. His music used to be important to me and my friends and it's sad that hearing songs I used to love just leaves a sour taste in my mouth now. Part of me wishes I could go back but it seems it's too late at this point and he's irreversibly gone off the deep end. It's just sad. I can't separate anymore.

He's lost his damn mind. This is so challenging separating the art from the artist with him. Smdh

It's not a movie, but I just binged the anime Erased and it would be right up that alley! It's only 12 episodes long with great pacing and its what I would describe as a non-anime persons type of anime

One of my all time favorites. The train scene and waterfall jump always stuck out in my mind.

It blew me right over here to Lemmy

I think my longest and last account was around 26k. End of an era

Been on reddit since 2010 and over the years I've gotten less and less interested and the only subs I still had interest in were the niche fashion communities.

I'm gonna be the change I want to see and created the lemmy community for one of my favorite brands (Supreme) and over time other ones will fill out the space. I'm also gonna join a patreon discord for better fashion discussion than the reddit subs anyway and was something I'd been wanting to do anyway before the recent events.

With those as a replacement I should be fine. I'm also way more excited about investing into an exciting new community with lemmy that reminds me of the early reddit days. Reddit will only continue to get worse as it gets more corporate and terrible in the same way Facebook and other platforms went downhill over the years. Lemmy is on the come up
