Perhaps you could get off your high open-source horse and try reading what I actually wrote. I'm talking about cramming in a million buttons and 0.1 line height so there are 20 comments shown at once. I don't need my mobile app to look like old.reddit.com, I need it to be actually readable and usable from a small screen. Ads (which are shown in the feed and can be scrolled past) have nothing to do with that.

Yes because ads are the only thing making a difference in the comfort of using an app. Comfortable design (that doesn't try to cram a million things into a small phone screen) and intuitive navigation mean nothing I guess.

Because apps with ads (specifically Sync that I use) have better UX and more features than anything open-source. Sorry but that's it.

Now on Tap also used OCR. Both Google Lens and Now on Tap get the same bullshit results on any languages that are not Latin. Literally, Ж gets read as >|< by both exactly the same.

I would guess this person pronounces it like "ooniversity" in which case it's correct, it depends on if there's a vowel or consonant sound, not what letter it is. But I never heard it pronounced that way, for me it's always been "youniversity" and in that case it's incorrect.

The first spacewalk in Prey 2017. It's incredible. You get out of the gate, look around, see nothing but space around you, hear No Gravity playing (this track is extremely important), and realize how tiny and insignificant you really are. You barely understand how to control your character, everything is clunky, you seem to be in danger from everything around you. It's a perfectly directed moment.

It's so good that I could just export my settings from the old app and import them to the new app and it just worked. I've spent so much time adjusting Sync for myself, it'd take me forever to recreate that manually.

Then maybe this way is the best way to handle it for now. Lower leagues seem to have more fan attachment (correct me if I'm wrong, this is a super outsider view), and getting those clubs accustomed to promotion/relegation would work.

After that, in maybe 10 years, promote two best teams and relegate the worst-performing franchise. And then make the whole MLS work by the same rules.
