Not the one you replied to, but I installed lineageos on a old Samsung tab I had laying around and there's the android native option to 'pin apps' which puts the app before the lockscreen basically until you exit the mode manually, meaning you only need to turn on the screen and it's still protected by password so can't be used for anything else.

For waking, it's in the hallway where I have a hue motion sensor. Whenever the sensor notices movement, it'll send a notification to the tablet with the command to wake the screen and the screen turns on. Pretty easy and straightforward

How? I've been a heavy telegram user for more than 8 years now. Not a single time I have unwillingly been added to a group I had no interest in or been messaged with any scam message.

I know of privacy settings that limit these, but I have none of them turned on, because I have some people that might add me to important groups.

I mean I'd like to follow that advice, but my coffee consumption is quite low actually. I usually drink half a cup of coffee a day. Some days 2 half. And this only in the morning.

The problem is that if I don't, I tend to get quite the bad migraine around noon. So I prefer to simply have it. Also it does boost my mood and productivity in the morning a lot. I don't really feel like I need to stop it, but I appreciate your advice, I do know some people who drink an awful lot of coffee which even I find kinda disturbing.

Tell me about it. My coffee machine suddenly broke down the past weekend and I've had such a bad week. I tried red bull as a replacement but an energy drink in the morning is just weird. I then tried English breakfast tea which was nice in its own way but I still felt down during the day.

Yesterday I was feeling so off that I even tried alcohol because maybe being numb would help?

Today I'm feeling much better. Now this sound like it's one hell of a drug, and I can't for sure tell if it's just the lack of caffeine or overall bad habits plus somewhat of a small depression hit this week which made all of it so bad. But yea I was really not feeling this week, and I can't wait until my fixed machine arrives on Monday.

It's hilarious because when my gf and I got together, she was the same.

It was weird to me because I was very ticklish and I couldn't grasp how someone could not have that feeling.

But some time later, Idk why and when, but all of a sudden she became ticklish.

I mean it actually is the exact to me but I realized, if I do that I just drift off into it more and more extreme. Until I feel quite lonely so now I push myself to be less like that haha

Lol wtf haha. I'm not really an extrovert tho, I just really enjoy being around people and having fun... even though I can never start a conversation with someone myself, if I haven't known them for years already.

I'm also awful at keeping up conversations, my smalltalk game is straight up non-existent. Maybe one leads to another or so. But when I warmed up with others I tend to love being around them. At least for a while, sometimes I need to refresh my social battery again, but I feel we're all kinda like that

See you're very clearly a textbook introvert

Wtf how could you tell, it's 100% correct

To bring another opinion to all the other comments, each week I'm trying to go into the office more often than I already do (2-3/5 times per week currently) which I feel is not much, but after reading some comments, you guys must think I'm a maniac already lol.

Now why would someone do that? First, I got a new job like half a year ago and I absolutely love it. First of all, my current commute time is around 25 minutes, door to door, in clean public transportation. Second, we got free water, Softdrinks, Coffee, Snacks, even fruits and cereal in the office. So no matter what I need to energize, it's there. At home, I usually don't. Or I do, but still, it's better to have 'free' you know?

Also, I love my colleagues. They're very young on average, incredibly skilled and highly intelligent. Also from many different countries. It's always fun talking to them and getting different insights on all kinds of things. We also usually take smaller breaks to play table tennis or table football.

Home office is great too, for days I really need to focus or have a lot of meetings. Or have private appointments, deliveries, or whatever. I can also take Homeoffice whenever I want and no one cares at all.

But still, it gets boring and lonely. Being in the office is great for my social factor and currently feels more like going to see friends, rather than working.

I had a conversation with a coworker recently and we got to the topic of working out, and he told he's working out two times a day. He goes to the gym before and after work.

I asked him why the hell he would go twice, like that's just ridiculous and he said well he was depressed, and started working out. Everyone said it'd help with the depression, but it helped only a bit. So he figured well maybe he has to go even more.

It's absolutely ridiculous imo, but.. whatever helps one I guess
