Surprised that Ireland isn't on this list. Surely they need loads of data centres for all the US companies they shield from taxes 😉.

You can use OpenOffice which hasn't adopted any new UI since 1998.
Do you realise how much tea stains?
Arrrrrgggghhhg!
Maybe stop funding them with US tax dollars?
Do you work somewhere where you can escape for an hour over lunch, perhaps? Like go to the gym or something? Out of sight out of mind.
I totally get the feeling of being mobbed, but to be honest find a way to cope with it at work. A lot of work places are by definition social places so it's going to be really hard avoiding interactions all the time. Maybe go for a walk with a podcast or something?
Good luck 🤞.
Imagine if the EU fined Ireland like it fines US mega corporations when they've been deemed to break the law. 4% of global turnover for GDPR breaches for example. If the EU wants to take tax avoidance seriously it would fine Ireland 4% of their GDP until they shut these schemes down.
But it doesn't. This is simply a charade.
King Cobra JFS?
😂😂😂😂
Fuck that's depressing reading. I understand what US corporations get out of this but I'm still unsure why Ireland goes to this length to be a tax haven. What's in it for them?
Don't worry, if I believe the internet the EU will save us from Big Tech..... checks where Ireland and The Netherlands are..... Bugger.
You have to realise that it's easier to believe "Google is spying on your card usage" than actually doing any research or understanding how the technology works. This is the internet after all.
Wasn't it a case of them ordering Elon to comply with the law, he played silly buggers with them by meming a response, so they started to take his assets away and he was like... wait no shocked Pikachu I will comply.
