wine is a windows api implementation, it's specifically NOT an emulator
what's the big deal about swift?? the language has been cross-platform for quite some time now, it's just there wasn't much point for it on neither windows nor linux outside of "oh look i can write a hello world in swift"
good on them for utilizing it but I don't think it's revolutionary or anything
it's a thing mostly used for games but games and other apps are fundamentally identical
while that's true, that's also about what id expect in any other country (arguably even better, see putin's ptr server, belarus, where you have to "prove" you're trans for 2 years before starting anything)
