If anyone knows why I'd be interested too

I've looked for a bit and I cannot find which version stopped support, just that it stopped for seemingly no reason.

I am currently using Sennheiser's ocx 686g but they're just staring to lose connection to the port when the cable gets pushed around, so I was looking to see if there's anything better than just replacing these every 3-5 years at a ~100$ price point wired preferred but not a hard deal breaker or anything

I have a comprehensive financial plan and look to have up to 48k in about one years time saved. With 16k on hand after paying off my student loans this October which will likely start the one year plan.

I want to use the money to put 20% down on a house (plus have an emergency fund)

Outside of say a high interest savings account such as Ally, is there anything else I can do with the money I have on hand now, or is that the best option?
