Well technically white women voted for this too.

Because telemetry as implemented and spying are in fact very very different, and conflating the two is why "noone cares about privacy". When your giant conspiracy wall is "Manjaro knows a user in north America clicked on the start menu more often then typing into a quick search box" and you refer to that as spying, you hurt the actual cause you claim to support. Badly.
The same is true for Microsoft, ive been asking for years for any concrete proof of spying a normal human would care about and what I usually get is the Microsoft terms of use, a legal document that reflects reality less than the average legal document, and the average legal document is basically covering your eyes and hoping nobody sues you.
And because I think the correct way to dick swing in this community is as follows...I also use arch 🍆 (well endeavour, but I think I still get dick swinging credits)
Just put it somewhere noone lives like the Dakotas or places people who don't matter live, like west Virginia. All the coal miners getting cancer anyway, why not double tap?
Or to put it another way, we almost ruined a large swath of land and learned from that mistake, but chose not to use it so when we do have to switch to nukes because destroyed our planet we will have forgotten all those lessons and do it again.

Can I kill someone who wants to do this? How do I legally get away with it?
To be fair most professed christians behave less inline with Jesus' teachings then I do, and I was about 10 before I learned more than the guy's name.
Oooooh I love stemlord! He's the one with the plucky raccoon and the jetpacks right?
For most usage, probably nothing. Let's be honest you arent looking at those pics again most of the time. Most of the ones you do, you're looking at on your phone which has a tiny screen. Ask yourself how many times you've wanted to zoom in 10x on a jpeg on your computer and there's your answer as to whether there's anything wrong with it.
Classic jpeg still has value and there's improved revisions.

Perhaps the phrasing is wrong, but you could give op benefit of the doubt and think about what you like about it since it's the de facto standard. For example, you could say "it makes me feel like I'm actually going faster, but also I just like it and your question is dumb". Informative and mean at the same time!
If a gay man asked you "what do you find attractive about women" or the N other combos of that question would you helpfully say "get lost weirdo, I like what I like and there is no point in discussing it"?
Note while you're shitting on op, op at no point said your opinion is wrong just that they wished to understand. You're the bad guy here, with unnecessary hostility in response to a question.
