So pi-hole is essentially the same as something like NextDNS, just self hosted?

I has come to my attention that some users have never heard of F-droid. F-droid is a free software app store for android in c/privacy@lemmy.ml

Can also recommend the SimpleX chat, Bitwarden, Cryptomator and Briar repos. There's also IzzyOnDroid, though I think they have less strict guidelines.
