I went down the rabbit hole of looking for an epaper note taker (some great YT reviews on all of them - this was my favorite: https://youtu.be/St5bZDCWRpE) and settled on the Boox Note Air Plus 2. I wanted long battery life and a backlight so I could read at night mainly.
There is a minor lag when writing but not troublesome for me - but I absolutely love it.
The only thing is I don't fully trust the company that makes it since there are some issues surrounding the openness of the Linux OS they used so I don't sign into personal accounts on it, but just transfer PDFs to/from it through the Wi-Fi drop.
I just wish my library would carry more of them in audiobook form...great to listen to multiple times
I nuked the past several years of gif making from my asking. Felt like slicing out a troublesome family member and it still weirdly hurts to have done that.
Neat! Nothing wrong with that combo, sword and board is a fun way to play imo.
My shining achievement was an OpFi and I doubt I'll ever get that lucky again 😅

I have a fun issue. I want to be on Linux but for whatever reason there is no audio support (and I'm not able to add code to the kernel to fix it) for my Lenovo Legion 7.
Seems to only be affecting a certain chipset but no audio is a problem. Bluetooth at least works but that isn't good enough unfortunately.
